LIJ Ibero is a biannual academic publication with electronic distribution that offers theoretical and critical studies on contemporary children’s and youth literature. It centers its attention on the literaturity of the texts, the texture that distinguishes the documents for their artistic quality, their rhetoric configuration, and the metaphoric richness that reveals the world around us and makes it comprehensible, an emphasis that does not imply abandoning the multiple interdisciplinary possibilities that exist, because the LIJ is a complex object of study that is alive and in development, a difficult challenge for all those involved in its research, creation, dissemination, and development.
